The Chief Financial Officer advises the County Commission and Administrator on all fiscal and budgetary matters.

This department is responsible for:

  • Accounting for all financial transactions.
  • Disbursements of funds.
  • Approval of all purchase requisitions.
  • Management of county treasury.
  • Investing of all funds.
  • Facilitating budget development and implementation.
  • Monitoring of revenues and expenditures.
  • Fixed asset inventory.
  • All annual reporting such as audit, sales tax reports, EMMA, etc.
