The Chief Financial Officer advises the County Commission and Administrator on all fiscal and budgetary matters.
This department is responsible for:
- Accounting for all financial transactions.
- Disbursements of funds.
- Approval of all purchase requisitions.
- Management of county treasury.
- Investing of all funds.
- Facilitating budget development and implementation.
- Monitoring of revenues and expenditures.
- Fixed asset inventory.
- All annual reporting such as audit, sales tax reports, EMMA, etc.
