Your Election Board

The Board of Elections and Registration of Rabun County were enacted by the General Assembly of Georgia in 2006. The Board is accountable for the conduct of primaries and elections as well as the registration of voters, and absentee balloting procedures. The Board is composed of three members appointed by the Board of Commissioners of Rabun County. The Board appoints the Supervisor of Elections, who is responsible for all elections duties. Board meetings are held at 8:30 am in the conference room at 184 S Main St Suite 134. Election board meeting times are subject to change.

Rabun County currently has one polling place, the Rabun County Voting Center, located at 184 South Main Street, Suite 102 in Clayton, Georgia. This is the location where all votes are cast.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:   

There will be a recount for Republican district three candidate Brandon Martin on June 25, 2026, starting at 11:00am at the Rabun County Board of Elections  located at 184 S Main Street Suite 102, Clayton GA 30525.

The recount will be open to the public.

On June 3, 2026 the Rabun County Director of Elections will begin conducting the public Logic and Accuracy test involving the (ICX) BMD and printers’ units, polling place Scanner and E Poll Pads and all voting system components to be used in the Absentee precinct (Georgia DRE rule 183-1-12-.08) for the General Election Runoff to be held on June 16,2026. Also, on June ,3 2026 (Georgia DRE rule 183-1-12-.02; 183-1-12-.08) the Director of Elections will be beginning and conducting the public Logic and Accuracy test involving the (ICX) BMD and printers’ units, polling place Scanner, ICC Workstation and Central Scanner, E Poll Pads and all voting system components to be used on Election Day, General Election Runoff to be held on June 16, 2026. On these days, preparation and testing will commence at 9:00 a.m. at Rabun County Board of Elections 184 S Main St., Suite 102 Clayton Ga. 30525 and shall continue until such preparation and testing is complete.
